BIDFF continues the series of special screenings co-presented by international dance film festivals. Eight shorts, all awarded by FIVER and Bestias Danzantes will guide the public on a trip of extreme emotions and multi-layered stories. You are presented with already famous films, part of the international festival circuit, animations with an unique aesthetics and fiction films which see the body as the center of the Universe. We are very excited to co-present a collection of films that will let you sink in a realm of altered space and time and that will certainly make you pass through a series of contradictory feelings.

Laboratorium

A builder mysterious lab is working on creating his new invention – a mechanical dancer, who revives with a copper wire nut. It helps to take its first steps and teaches dance. The dancer does not comply with his instructions and try to dance its way. This leads to conflict.

The difficulty to declare and act out of love, what are the psychological phenomena influencing this emotional cumulation, in this doubt. The scene of this clip was the "Estadio Nacional" (National Stadium), a torture center in Chile in 1977, representing the shadow and society in love in a parallel narrated by the singer who will basting both worlds.
